The British International Schools of Moscow are situated on seven sites in both the north and the south of Moscow. Here, without leaving Moscow, you can receive quality education according to the British National Curriculum, or the Russian Curriculum with added elements of the British National Curriculum.
North
School 1 (Infants): 24 Ulitsa B. Akademicheskaia,24
The Infants' School in the north in situated in the leafy suburbs of northern Moscow, next to Timiriazevskii Park. The youngest children study here, from 3 - 7 years of age. The school day begins at 9:00 am and finishes at 3:00 pm, with two breaks of 30 and 40 minutes each. Extra-curricular activities are available during breaks and after school: ballet, craft, art, sport, board games and drama. At the end of each term parents are invited to a school concert.

School 2 (Juniors): 9 Ulitsa Priorova
This separate, two-storey building, located in an environmentally clean area of Moscow, is not far from either the infants' school (School 1) or the secondary school (School 7). All three schools keep close contact with each other, sharing festivals and concerts.

In the last year, the school building has undergone a number of significant changes both indoors and outdoors. The school is equipped with a physics and chemistry laboratory, and an up-to-date computer room with local area network and access to the Internet. The school hall, where drama and music lessons take place, has been refurbished with a new stage and musical equipment. The library is constantly being updated with new resources, both fiction and non-fiction.

School 7 (Secondary): 12a Ulitsa Priorova
This school was opened in September, 1998. Pupils aged 11 - 16 years old study under the British Curriculum programme from Years 7 - 11. The school grounds have a cosy summer-house which is used for lessons in good weather, and volleyball and basketball courts which in the winter are used for skating. The lay-out of the school is compact, with comfortable classrooms, a well-equipped physics and chemistry laboratory, and a computer room with local area network and access to the Internet. The physical well-being of the pupils is taken seriously, and the school has been assigned a large sports hall which can be used for a variety of activities.

The South
School 3 (Secondary): 19 (k.5) Novoiasenevskii Prospekt
The school is located not far from the metro stations "Bitsevskii Park" and "Yasenevo" in a quiet leafy suburb of Moscow. The grounds of the school are looked after with care, with green lawns for relaxation and outdoor games. A new sports hall has been built in the school grounds, which allows our pupils to participate in a range of sports all year round. Besides this, the school has a summer sports ground which can be used for a variety of sports.
The school has two well-equipped laboratories, a large art studio, a school theatre, a computer room with the latest technology including a local area network and access to the Internet, and a school library which is continually being updated with new publications sent from Great Britain. A wide range of sports and extra-curricular clubs are provided in addition to the main educational curriculum, as well as educational excursions and language trips abroad.
The school has a Careers and University Guidance Programme which helps pupils to make the right choice of university and which also oversees the registration of all necessary documents.

School 4 (Primary): 4a Ulitsa Inessy Armand
The school is situated in the south-west of Moscow in Yasenevo, a five-minute walk from Bitsevskii Forest Park, and offers a complete educational programme for children aged 3 - 11 years old. After completing Year 6, pupils then move on to the secondary school, also situated Yasenevo.
The school is modern and equipped, and has a local area network and access to the Internet. A computerised library, with more than 2007 books, fulfils the requirements and needs of all areas of the curriculum. Premises designated for creative arts including drama and music give children the opportunity to develop their talents. Textbooks and other equipment are obtained from England. Qualified Russian teachers work alongside as assistants to the British teachers and native speakers, and have the same level of education, allowing them to teach in the British International Schools.
In the morning, during breaks and after school a wide variety of extra-curricular activities are offered to the children: dance, music, karate, Scout groups, art and sports.

School 5: 35a Nakhimovskii Prospekt
The Russian section of the British International Schools is located in this building, and offers education in the Russian Curriculum with a range of subjects taught in English for pupils aged 5 - 17 years old.
The building is equipped with computer rooms complete with access to the Internet, laboratories, and a swimming pool. The school grounds of nearly a hectare in size are popular with the pupils as a play area. A sports complex in the school grounds comprises a volleyball, football and basketball court and a playground for the primary school. In winter these are used for skating.

School 6 (Poliglot): 49 Ulitsa Prospekt Mira
This is the section of the British International Schools that offers adults as well as children the opportunity of studying English and other languages at any level. You can also choose to have lessons with native speakers. There are courses in French, German, Swedish, Spanish and Italian, Russian as a foreign language, and also preparation courses for different international exams. Here you have the chance to prepare to take the international accounting exams, ACCA and CIMA and receive the relative internationally recognised certificates. With such a qualification, you will be able to work abroad as an accountant and an auditor.
