Children study at Secondary School from 11 - 19 years of age. Classes have no more than 20 pupils. In the final years it is possible that pupils receive individual lessons. Pupils follow a carefully-planned and balanced curriculum. At Key Stage 4 pupils prepare to take the Cambridge IGCSE exams (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). The school is an official centre for these exams.
Key Stage Three (11 - 14 years) версия для печати
Pupils in Years 7 - 9 are offered a wide-ranging choice of challenging and interesting subjects in line with the English National Curriculum. The transition from Primary to Secondary School in Year 7 occurs naturally and smoothly. ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons are available.
Key Stage Four (14 - 16 years)
Pupils in Year 9 especially need the advice and support of staff. Indeed it is at this stage that pupils opt to take certain subjects at IGCSE level (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). Subjects such as mathematics, English, Science, a modern foreign language (Russian, German, French or Spanish), and physical education are obligatory. Options include history, geography, economics, art, music, and information technology. At the present time we are looking at the possibility of extending the range of subjects offered. .
