The middle school comprises Years 5 – 9. Classes are small – no more than 15 pupils. The sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, geography) are taught in laboratories equipped with all necessary apparatus and equipment. The computer room has access to the Internet. From Year 5 pupils study a second foreign language. Some subjects from Year 5 onwards are taught in English according to both the English and the IB (Middle Years) Curricula. Children take English language exams at various levels at the British Council. After lessons pupils in the middle school can stay on for musical and drama clubs, and prepare for school drama festivals and competitions. Those who wish can participate in sports lessons in the gym, swimming pool or the aerobics hall.
